Physical Therapy

Recharge was founded in 2013, and shortly thereafter started working and coordinating with the best physical therapists in town. Recharge formed a special relationship with Focus Physical Therapy, when our visions aligned to work together to build a cohesive healthcare and fitness facility to offer more to their clients and members. The full vision today: Recharge is a multi-disciplinary co-op clinic of therapists working together with the best coaches and trainers to promote healing and performance to everyone. All in an innovative wellness and training facility. We are excited that Focus, and their amazing team of physical therapists, is apart of our Recharge team!!!

Husband and wife team Burke Selbst and Amy Royce founded Focus Physical Therapy in 2005 to create a clinic where a team of licensed physical therapists and staff can practice with the highest level of skill, effectiveness and caring.

“Our mission and motto are simple:

To allow the best therapists to do the right thing with our patients.”

To realize this mission, we brought together an eclectic team of therapists with a huge range of rehabilitation experience, interests and expertise; we created a patient-service team of administrative staff to make scheduling and payment as smooth as possible, and we gather feedback on our business from our patients and community partners to fine-tune our operations.

Our team of therapists have the advanced training and experience to tackle any physical movement or pain problem. By offering multiple specialties, we have therapists with the unique skills and interests to meet the needs of our diverse patient population and community. From common problems such as low back pain, shoulder, hip and knee pain, to problems such as lymphedema, balance and inner-ear disorders that require a specialist’s care, our therapy team has the depth, range and record of success to treat and manage these conditions and many more.

If you are hurting or experiencing a life-altering disability or condition, contact us to find out how to make our care the foundation of your rehabilitation program.

Burke grew up in New Jersey before following the sun, mountains and surfing out west for school. He and his wife Amy are college sweethearts and co-founders of Focus Physical Therapy since 2005. A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Burke’s practice is eclectic and varied as a result of his interests in the fundamentals of movement and post-graduate training and certifications in Orthopedics, The McKenzie Method and The Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education. Currently he specializes in fine tuning the physical and neuromotor performance of recreational through professional endurance athletes, as well as providing full care for general sport, spine and postural problems.

“The first few years of my practice were filled with a number of diverse influences. Since then they’ve blended into a whole that feels pretty seamless to me, and allows me to speak the language my patients speak in order to understand their goals and motivations. This makes the process of rehabilitation feel easy and comfortable for my patients, and gets us great results.”
